EHG is a clear, colourless and almost odourless liquid which is globally approved as a versatile and multifunctional additive, as well as a very active deodorant active. Ethyl Hexyl Glycerine (EHG) is a versatile and multifunctional additive, as well as a very effective active component in deodorants.  It has an inhibiting effect on the growth of odour causing bacteria while not affecting the skin.  It increases the antimicrobial efficacy of typically used preservatives like phenoxyethanolpentylene glycol, caprylyl glycol, isothiazolinones and parabens.
